Doug Dunn founded and runs Alliance Bus Group, the nation’s largest group of full-service bus dealerships with locations throughout the country. Alliance sells, services, and supplies buses and parts for any types of bus, from vans, motor coaches, school buses, multi-function school activity buses, heavy-duty transit vehicles, specialty buses, and limousines. The company represents every major commercial manufacturer in the industry.
Alliance was named the 4th fastest growing large middle-market company in 2012 by the Association for Corporate Growth and will be in the top 10 for 2013 as well (exact # TBD on June 13). Additionally in 2012, Alliance was presented with the Five-Star World Class Customer Service Award for the category of “Servant Culture” by Smart Business Magazine and was recognized with numerous “Dealer of the Year” Awards from the manufacturers Alliance represents.
Alliance Bus Group is also extremely active in the community. Every December, the corporate office in Atlanta does an annual “Stuff the Bus” drive benefitting Toys for Tots. In August and September every year, Alliance Bus Group is the highest sponsorship level for two golf tournaments supporting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. In July, Alliance sponsors the Paul DeBellevue Tournament & Edwin’s 5k, charitable events honoring Atlanta businessmen and friends that have passed away. They donate more than $15,000 to local charities with an additional $15,000 benefitting national charitable organizations each year.
