Harris Carlock leads ECI Management Corporation as its President. He's been with the organization since 2000 and is responsible for the operation of its 40 apartment communities with over 10000 units located throughout the Southeast.

ECI Group is a family business that was founded by Henry Hirsch in 1969. ECI Group is made up of ECI Capital ECI Construction and ECI Management. The related entities currently own and/or manage over 10000 apartment units in 40 properties located in the Southeast. The construction arm has completed over $900000000 of new construction and rehabilitation since its inception.

In being good stewards of our resources ECI places a priority on investing in people and especially in education. ECI has helped to renovate local schools and supports after school programs through the efforts of team members at individual properties. One of the most recent examples was to support the renovation and expansion of The Drake House whose mission is to provide short term crisis housing and support to homeless mothers and their children in the Atlanta area. Through this involvement and commitment to supportive housing these residents can regain self-sufficiency.

ECI develops strategic alliances with other business partners to join in local efforts that strengthen its neighborhoods and promote positive youth development. It also invests in arts and cultural organizations that help to create vibrant engaging communities. ECI's strength as an organization is a result of long hours of hard work and dedication by a committed group of people who want to see success happen for everyone. When there is a need in a local community the ECI team prides themselves in being the first ones to step up and offer a helping hand.

For over twenty years ECI has joined others in the fight to drive out hunger by participating in one of the nation's most successful volunteer missions with the Atlanta Community Food Bank. This is a project that extends to every resident on every property and has resulted in the distribution of nearly 2 million pounds of donated grocery products each month to more than 700 nonprofit partner agencies throughout the metro area.

These are just a few of the many examples of ECI's community partnerships. The company understands that leadership begins with service and it seeks out opportunities to serve in its local communities.

Harris is a native of Atlanta and a graduate of the University of Alabama. He's a founding member of Vistage Key Group 9178 joining at its inception in September 2012.

Outside of work Harris enjoys golf traveling and spending time with his family. Harris is also on the board and serves as CFO for Wiphan Care Ministry. This is an organization that has a mission of equipping widows and orphans in Ndola Zambia for productive life through education skills training and meeting basic needs. (www.wiphan.org)
